Hi all, the leagues will start at 6:30 on Wednesday. Most of you are familiar with the way things work at Woodside. Please make sure you register your team at the control desk (the green container) each night and check if you have refereeing duties.

Please car share if possible, Woodside has limited parking spaces and as the road to the back of the club house is badly pot-holed, please drive carefully.

I intend to put information out via our website (http://www.aberdeentouch.com/) and facebook (http://www.facebook.com/groups/16682683869/) this year probably mainly via the blog rather than direct emailing. You, and your team mates should be able to set up an RSS feed to keep up to date but please check the website regularly for updates.

We will work to last years Tournament Guidelines (http://www.aberdeentouch.com/uploads/7/5/3/6/7536061/2011_aberdeen_touch_rugby_guidelines_rev_6.pdf). Aberdeen Touch Rugby (ATR) will be the final arbiters in any dispute regarding rules or on-field discipline and reserve the right to consult with the many experienced referees that will officiate.

Please take note that boots with screw-in or metal studs are not allowed in Touch

Please remember that the tournament is run by volunteers, be respectful even if things go a wee bit awry.

We will be circulating a fixture list at the beginning of the week.

I think that is all, good luck and I hope you enjoy playing in the Aberdeen Summer Touch League.

Allan
