Congratulations to Hoodlums who are this years Aberdeen Touch Rugby League winners with a clean sweep of games won. Here for the Craic were runners up just beating Leopards by a 3 try margin on Try difference (both having won 6 of their 10 games). Full results are here.
No games scheduled for next week but the pitches will still be available for those who fancy a social game of Touch. Many thanks to both Wallace and Sharkey for refereeing throughout the league and to those of you who refereed for your team. Finally, good luck to all the Aberdeen players who will be representing Scotland at the Touch World Cup. 
Aberdeen Touch 2024 summer mixed league registration is now open (go to 'Registration' dropdown tab above). Will close on 10th May with league starting 15th May until 3rd July depending on number of teams. If you are an individual player or players with no team, feel free to come down and we will try to find games for you (use the 'contact' form). The league games concluded last week with the Aberdeenshire Leopards just holding off a strong challenge from Here for the Craic to take top spot by one point. Congratulations to Ithaca Tigers who (with help of a few friends) won the knock out cup. It was good to see some experienced players helping out a relatively new and inexperienced team.
Many thanks to all those who contributed to this year's games, there was some good Touch being played and a few close and hard fought games. Also many thanks to Wallace and Sharkey for refereeing throughout the weeks of the leagues and this evening's cup games along with Audrey. Aberdeen Touch Rugby is planning to run a short summer league starting on 7th June at Woodside if there is enough interest. Team registration is open. Teams of all levels are welcome. If you are an individual player or players with no team, feel free to come down and we will find games for you.
Registration will close midnight on Wednesday 31st May. If you are short of numbers, just let me know and I will see what I can do to help. Use the contact form. Aberdeen Touch Rugby are delighted to announce the resumption of competitive games this season. Team registration is open and the first games will take place on 25th May at Woodside Sports Complex. Here are the results of the inaugural Aberdeen leg of the Scottish Development Series. Despite the early rain, the weather stayed fair. Having won every game throughout the day, Leopards were pipped at the last going down 3-4 to winners, Stirling Storm Troopers in a drop off in the final. Score of the day went to Ellis Craik, which even had the referees cheering. Thanks to both Superhands and Stirling for travelling north and to Leopards and Guerillas who fielded a number of youngsters. Hope you all enjoyed the day.
That marks the end of the official Touch season in Aberdeen but Social touch is still available to those who are keen (see Aberdeen Touch Rugby facebook page for details). Hope to see you all next year
